The Making of the UnHoly Trinity

October is right around the corner and you all know how I love Inktober! Recently, I decided to try my hand at some Money Art.  I purchased a few uncut sheets and I have some super ideas.  First, I needed to give it a test run.  Yes, another Crash Course in Brain Surgery. I thought maybe some skulls would be cool.  Then I thought some kind of Vampire/Demon Skulls would be super cool.  So, to work I went. After a few hours I came up with what I refer to and have titled “The UnHoly Trinity” It is currently  for … Continue reading The Making of the UnHoly Trinity

High School Art Teachers- How I got to Where I am Now Part 2

As an artist who makes a living from his art, it really warms my heart to see just how much a role our local High School art teacher, Lisa, plays in the lives of her young students.  My daughter, being one of them. Let me explain. Tonight, after a long day of running Nikki to the airport an hour and a half away. Not to mention, we left the house at 1:30am.  Pretty much stopped long enough to dump her off. Excited, I replied right back wanting to set a date.  So after a few schedule conflicts we set the date.  We were going to meet for supper on April 11th at The White Rose Bar & Grill in York PA, one of Nikki and I’s favorite haunts (I heard that on … Continue reading Going to Boonsboro

The Story of Windsong

This is the fifth drawing of the Ireland series and the most dearest to my heart. Even though none of the reference pics or model were from Ireland, the inspiration came to me while visiting Ireland. This was a trip my wife and I took about 8 months after my father’s passing. He fought esophageal cancer for over a year, with operations and chemotherapy. As a son, this was a terrible hard thing to watch someone you love go through. Now, with tears in my eyes as I write this, I feel the need to explain this in the best … Continue reading The Story of Windsong
